Tickets in advance via agents
Rail-booking agent, Trainseurope, can get some tickets ahead of the public booking window. This can help you get your travel plans sorted in advance, particularly for peak dates.
Guiness used to have the slogan 'The best things come to those who wait.' But Guiness weren't selling train tickets.
I've been told by a rail-booking agent, Trainseurope, that it can get tickets in advance of the booking window. Trainseurope is an expert tailor-made agent who has been helping skiers for many years.
As you may know from the previous blog article, public sales for TGV trains open on 30 September 2026 (for travel between 13 December 2026 and 06 January 2027) and then on 12th November 2026 (for travel between 07 December 2026 and 02 July 2027),
Fas Mohammed of Trainseurope has told me:
"We can now book TGV trains to any destination up until 6 January 2027. For travel between 7 January and 31 March 2027, bookings will become available from 1 November 2026."
That's 10 days ahead of the public booking window.
Trainseurope has also said: "If the destination is Oulx (the station serving Montgenèvre, Serre Chevalier, Sauze d’Oulx and Sestriere ski resorts), we can now book journeys up until 20 March 2027."
Trainseurope also has some tickets available for Feb half term on the Eurostar Snow service, too.
