Le Grand Bornand - restaurants, apres-ski and nightlife

Restaurants in town
The main village of Le Grand Bornard and Chinaillon together have about 30 restaurants and nearly 40 bars.
La Bournerie is part of a 200-year-old farm and is the place for cheese-laden Savoyard specialities such as tartiflette, raclette and fondue.
Mountain restaurants
There are 17 restaurants on the slopes. Above Chinaillon, L'Igloo has fine views and traditional food. Non-skiers can reach it by taxi to meet up with friends.
Le Chalet Venay is as good at lunchtime as it is in the evening, while La Ferme du Pépé has a great atmosphere, complete with a log fire. Le Roc des Arces near the Rosay gondola has good food and a fine sun terrace.
Apres-ski & nightlife
Le Grand Bornard is not a partygoer's resort, but bars can become lively. Les Deux Guides has a British pub atmosphere.
