Chalet de L'Ours

Chalet de L’Ours is a charming, two-storey renovated farmhouse located in the Bataillette sector of Sainte Foy.

The chalet covers 115m2 and consists of three ground-floor bedrooms. The master double bedroom has an ensuite bathroom and a west-facing balcony offering stunning views across the valley.  There is plenty of built-in storage and space for a cot, if needed.

Bedrooms two and three share a family bathroom with bath, shower and WC. Bedroom three can be made up in double or twin format according to need. There is a further separate WC on the ground floor.

Upstairs, the chalet's spacious kitchen, living, and dining areas are flooded with natural light thanks to the high-level windows, and the exposed timbers add real character and cosiness to the property.  The lounge is comfortably furnished with 2 large Chesterfield sofas and a leather club chair, and there is a log fire, Wi-Fi and a large smart TV.  There is flagstone flooring throughout the chalet, with quality fixtures and fittings.

The chalet has a large dining table seating up to eight guests, and a well-stocked open-plan kitchen complete with a range-style cooker with double oven, microwave, fridge-freezer, dishwasher, butler sink and Nespresso machine.

There is a further mezzanine level above the living area, with a double sofa bed for additional guests, which also makes a great spot to relax with a book or for children to play.

Sainte Foy's slopes are a few hundred metres up the hill, but there is a convenient free shuttle that leaves from right outside the chalet to whisk you up to the nursery slopes and ski school meeting points each morning.  At the end of the day, you can ski back down to the chalet via the Retour Bataillette piste.
