L'Eclat de Veriaz

Megève is one of the most beautiful and charming ski resorts in the Alps, offering a vast ski area spread across three distinct sectors: Rochebrune, Mont d'Arbois and Le Jaillet. With mainly wooded slopes, it is ideal for intermediate cruising and excellent in poor weather, as the trees shelter skiers from wind and heavy snowfall.

Beginners are well catered for with easily accessible nursery slopes at Mont d'Arbois, while the resort's eight peaks and spectacular Mont Blanc views - particularly from the red Epaule run - make it a memorable destination for all levels.

The Chamois gondola, within walking distance of Megève centre, gives access to Rochebrune, which offers arguably the most attractive runs in the area through a delightful tree-lined sector. Le Jaillet's gondola departs from out of town and opens up further varied terrain.

Mont d'Arbois is the largest and highest mountain area, offering plenty of slope variation and accessible both from the town and via the La Princesse gondola out of town. It also links to the neighbouring resort of Saint-Gervais. The Mont Joly area features some of Megève's highest slopes. While the runs above the resort enjoy a sunny aspect, north-east facing slopes descend to Le Bettex and Saint-Gervais, providing cooler conditions and varied snow.
