La Ferme a Jules

Originally build in 1808, Ferme á Jules is our flagship Alikats chalet, and remains a firm favourite amongst all who visit. Currently ranked as the number 1 chalet on Trip Advisor for the whole of the French Alps, Ferme á Jules is perfect for anyone wanting to spend their holiday among friends, old and new.

Although large, with 10 bedrooms and a total capacity of 26 people, at no point does it feel vast. The traditional yet luxurious alpine décor, roaring fire, and considered layout create an inviting space to relax, take a break, and spend time with friends and family.

The sides of the chalet mirror each other, with all four of the ground-floor bedrooms opening on to broad balconies with sweeping views of the valley. Here you can find respite and peace during those busy mountain days, or enjoy an indulgent glass of fizz in the glow of an Alpine sunset. Three of these rooms (Le Latay, Le Chenau and Les Gueritolles) also have bunk beds, so nobody need miss out on the adventures.

On this bottom floor you can also find a sauna and large, outdoor hot tub to soak and soothe those weary limbs.

Two more bedrooms are situated on the middle floor, and the remaining four are located by themselves on the third floor. Each bedroom is ensuite and has been curated to combine luxury with comfort. Their generous size and considered layout provide space for you to find peace and privacy in those important moments of alone time. However, once you’ve unwound and washed away the day, it is the communal spaces located on the middle floor that really bring Ferme á Jules to life.
