Paris - Bourg sleeper - ticket only
You can now buy tickets independently on the new Travelski Night Express sleeper train - which means you can travel overnight between Paris and Bourg-Saint-Maurice and choose any accommodation you like.
A skier, Malachi, noticed that you can now buy tickets independently on Travelski's new Paris – Bourg-Saint-Maurice sleeper train.
Malachi kindly wrote to me to let me know, and I thought you might like to know too.
Previously, Travelski (which is a French tour operator) was only selling tickets on the train as part of a package that included accommodation offered by Travelski.
But now, you can buy tickets solely for the train if you desire, and then choose any accommodation that you want. Travelling from the UK, you'll need to book your London – Paris Eurostar separately too.
It doesn't seem that Travelski has announced this ticket-only option. Certainly there's been no press release or media coverage about it in the UK.
So you might be the first to know.
We've created a guide on SnowCarbon to tell you more about getting to the French Alps with this Travelski service.
I hope you find it useful, for this winter season or a future one.
